I joined the Long Island BeachFit community about four and a half months ago. I was at my heaviest weight and not feeling so great about myself. I’ve never been an active gym person so I was hesitant to join. I did the two week trial with my best friend. I found it challenging and hard at first but I made it through that first class and I actually didn’t mind it (secretly I loved it). After the two weeks were over, I knew that if joined and made some adjustments to my diet I could be in the shape I’ve always wanted. I’ve taken most of my class with Mike B and Christina I and they’ve been amazing coaches. They’re so friendly and genuine, checking in on you and following up with you. It’s been such a great experience working out with them. They’re always pushing you and working you to do your best every class. It’s been four and a half moths and I’ve lost 14 lbs plus some inches around my waist. I couldn’t be happier with my decision joining the Long Island BeachFit family.

“Hi, I’m Patty! My biggest challenge before starting the BEACHFIT Nutrition Program was my weight gain; I was gaining weight and I didn’t’ understand how to get that in control. What changed after the nutrition program was that I actually learned how to change my eating patterns – I learned about macros, how to focus more on how I was eating, and portion control. I felt I had more understanding about what my body needed to nourish it properly and be healthy. From the program, I dropped 6 levels of visceral fat, lost weight overall, but my muscle went up, and I thought that was great! It made me feel much more confident in how I eat and what’s appropriate for me. I just feel better overall!”

Hi, my name is Liz and I recently completed my Nutrition Program with Coach Christina. The reason I choose to start the program was because I felt I was not seeing the strength gains I had hoped for from my current workouts. The Beachfit workouts are terrific and challenging, however, my diet was preventing me from meeting my goals.

I heard about the different Nutritional Programs Beachfit offered through the Beachfit facebook page and conversations with the Beachfit coaches. I was very anxious prior to my first consultation because I was going to be sharing my diet with others. Christina made me feel so comfortable that first consult by reassuring me that this would help my overall health and strength. She assured me she would be by my side the entire journey and beyond. As time passed I looked forward to our consultations.

A goal I was able to reach during the Nutritional Program was when I took my midway BodyScan. I was so surprised to have gained muscle mass. Christina helped me achieve this goal by completely changing the way I constructed my meals and the education I received about food was endless.

Since I am a selective eater and only eat plant-based foods, I really gave Christina a challenge! She was amazing and tailored a program specifically for me. Christina went slowly with changing meals. We started with dinner, slowly changed lunch meal choices, and eventually conquered breakfast!

Right now my Nutritional Program has ended, but many goals have been reached. I have continued to follow through with everything Christina and I had planned for my nutritional program. I was nervous about not having daily check-ins with Christina, but she coached me to enjoy 100% accountability. Surprisingly, I do not miss the foods and drinks I used to consume on a daily basis.

If anyone is on the fence like I was about signing up for a Nutritional Program, JUST DO IT. My only regret is that I wish I started it earlier. YOU CAN DO IT! DON’T WAIT. Your body and mind need to stay healthy. Thank you Christina so much !
