What is the InBody 570 Body Composition Analyzer?

The InBody 570 Composition Analyzer is an advanced body composition analyzer that measures much more than just simply the users body fat composition. In short, it measures your body fat, muscle, and the total amount of water in your body. With this body water calculation, the InBody 570 is then able to take this data apart into both intracellular and extracellular body water levels. This detailed knowledge of your body water fluid distribution composition is useful for medical, fitness, and overall wellness purposes.

Easy 45-second tests

The InBody 570 Body Composition Analyzer can measure in detail, your fat mass, muscle mass, and body water levels in under a minute, at around 45 seconds. All that you have to do is stand on the InBody 570 while holding onto the hand electrodes.

No empirical estimations

The InBody 570 utilizes electrical impedance to ascertain your body composition. This means that you don’t have to enter in factors like your age or gender to get results.

Breaking down the InBody 570 Results Sheet

In using the InBody 570, each body composition test you take will provide you with a full page of detailed body composition analyses. These results will include lean mass and fat values in every part of your body.

Segmental Fat & Lean Mass Analysis

The Inbody 570 will provide you with the calculation of how many pounds of lean mass is in each part of your body. Knowing this, you can more aptly understand how certain diets and/or exercises may be affecting your body’s lean mass composition.

Identification of Injuries

Results will also include inflammation, swelling, and joint injury information from the InBody 570’s ECW/TBW analysis. You will be able to track these body change results in the body composition history chart section of the results page.

The components involved in using the InBody 570

The InBody 570 Body Composition Analyzer comes with a voice guidance system for step-by-step visible and audible instructions for the 45-second test.

Carpet

The first step in using the InBody 570 involves sitting on the included ottoman, taking off your shoes and socks, wiping your feet off with the InBody tissue to increase conductivity, and standing on the InBody carpet.

Height Measurement

Next, you will stand on the BSM-170 stadiometer to get your exact height. This step is required in order to get accurate results.

Hand Electrodes

Stand up straight, grasping the hand electrodes, with each of your thumbs atop the oval electrodes and your fingers around the handle. After you are in this position, holding the hand electrodes, place your arms down, away from your torso.

Feet Electrodes

Lastly, straighten the heel of your feet with the rear, round electrodes, pointing your toes straightforward so as to align them with the sole electrodes. Stay right here until the InBody 570's voice guidance system gives you new directions.

Once the 45-second body composition test is complete, you will receive a printout of your results and a coach will go over the results with you.
